Wind Lane™ uses your location information from your device’s GPS to provide route-aware hazard awareness. Location is needed so the app can understand where the driver is and what weather observations may be relevant along the route. Wind Lane is designed to use location for app functionality, not for unnecessary tracking.

Wind Lane™ uses your device’s location while the application is in use to provide its core functionality.

Wind Lane™ does not require user accounts, and your route selections are not associated with a personal profile.

Subscription Information

Subscriptions are purchased and managed exclusively through Apple’s App Store.

Safety Logic LLC does not receive or store your payment card information.

Apple may provide us with information necessary to verify that an active subscription exists, but payment processing is handled entirely by Apple.

Information We Do Not Collect

Wind Lane™ does not require users to create an account.
At this time, Wind Lane™ does not intentionally collect:

Your email address
Your mailing address
Your phone number
Your contacts
Your photos
Your text messages
Your payment information
Advertising identifiers for marketing purposes

If you contact us for support, we will receive only the information you choose to include in your email.

Weather Data

Wind Lane™ uses publicly available weather observations, which may include data from:
